"I really enjoyed hearing VOICES 21C at the ACDA Eastern Division Conference (March 2020). There's an incredible amount of what I call "angry activism" in our world right now, but VOICES 21C addresses injustice and responds with hope.
There has to be a pathway through to some kind of a better world, and VOICES 21C sings their audiences towards that path. Their vocal sound is vibrant and clear, and the staging serves the musical purpose."

"As an audience member, I felt overwhelmed with deep and diverse emotions. Musical compositions were brilliantly chosen and performed, and the program was organized into three parts: Feminine Identity; Forced Migration & Refugee Crisis; Race & Violence. Spoken dialogues enriched the musical performances all of which were inspired by and drawn from leaders and rebels who have fought against injustices we see today.
Artistic Director André de Quadros led VOICES 21C with profound sensitivity. As a very emotional man of 78, I felt these with deep sensitivity and anguish, and at times I found the whole difficult to take in. Riveted as I was to the sincerity, directness, stunning textual/musical embellishment of the highly diverse mood-flavors of VOICES 21C who so astonishingly enriched each mood I began to think, deeply; that led me to unlock: “Open Ears and Open Hearts,” the motto of our eastern division ACDA conference."
